The African Giant Toad or Congo Toad (Amietophrynus superciliaris) is a species of toad in the Bufonidae family. It is found in Cameroon, Central African Republic, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Ghana, Nigeria, possibly Liberia, and possibly Sierra Leone. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marches, plantations , and heavily degraded former forest. It is threatened by habitat loss.
